The Actuary assists in ensuring that the Fund achieves its financial goals – whether in the form of maintaining a sufficient funding level in the case of Defined Benefit Funds, or ensuring that members achieve their individual retirement goals within Defined Contribution Funds. The Actuarial team also performs an important function in auditing the work of the administrator to ensure that all member data is correctly maintained.
